    The "Dulani​" bulletin, specialized in entrepreneurship, issued by the Department of Media and Corporate Communication at Asharqia Chamber, in its latest issue (39), monitored several developments that reflect the reality of "entrepreneurship" in the Kingdom, including the impact of increasing the number of small and medium enterprises, and it monitored some official and civil initiatives supporting this. Orientations such as the initiatives of the Ministry of Education to support innovation, the Prince Abdul-Ilah bin Abdulaziz Prize for Productive Families, and others, led to the achievement of global achievements that are credited to the Kingdom at the global level. 

    The bulletin, under the title (Green Investments and a Promising Destination for Entrepreneurs), deals with environmentally friendly projects, as one of the new models of fast-growing economic development available to entrepreneurs, and which is based mainly on good knowledge of the environment, which is called the green economy, which is estimated at around $8 trillion globally. It is expected to reach $12 trillion by 2030, as the global trend is now more compatible with environmental initiatives, as 31% of the revenues of the largest 1200 global companies in 2019 came from the green economy, and green debt issuances in the Middle East and North Africa It amounted to $6.4 billion in the first half of 2021, noting, in this regard, the initiative of the Public Investment Fund to issue green bonds that are allocated to finance environment and climate projects, and the Solar Energy Plan 2030, which included the establishment of a new company to generate solar energy, and other companies specialized in research and development Solar energy in commercial quantities in the Kingdom... to confirm that the green economy - in the Kingdom - is a fertile field for entrepreneurs, as many projects can be established in the Kingdom. Its framework includes treatment and recycling projects, the use of renewable energy, and the production of electricity from solar and wind energy, and others.

    As part of the process of monitoring developments in the general situation of entrepreneurship in the Kingdom, and under the title (Courses for Entrepreneurship in 80% of the Kingdom’s Universities), the bulletin stated that the Kingdom ranked first among the twenty countries, in the indicators of entrepreneurs’ response to the Corona pandemic, and the government response to deal with The pandemic is among 45 countries, as well as the second place in the number of startups, and the third place in youth entrepreneurship for the current year.

    This is based on several factors, most notably the programs to support and develop the innovation and entrepreneurship system in various areas offered by the Ministry of Education, through the introduction of several initiatives that support innovation and enhance entrepreneurial resilience, including the entrepreneurship initiative. and study the reality of innovation and entrepreneurship, and the challenge of university innovation for sustainable development Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centres ", as well as the Leadership University Transformation Initiative and the Entrepreneurship Development Initiative to introduce qualitative courses specializing in entrepreneurship within university education as well as organizing several specialized workshops to lead innovation and entrepreneurship centers. She noted that entrepreneurship courses have become an educational subject in 80% of Saudi universities through 47 innovation and entrepreneurship centers.

The report pointed out that Saudi women constituted 45% of the total number of startups in the Kingdom, which is double the percentage achieved in 2017.
